This statement is of utmost importance, considering that this application is a tool that links the user with an individual or entity providing a remote monitoring service for events defined and activated by the user (as mentioned below). If this service does not exist, the event will not be received or attended to by anyone, making it impossible to respond. Therefore, the user of this application will not receive assistance when an event is sent. This application is designed for a one-time download and perpetual use. Those who download the application will do so directly from the app store corresponding to their smartphone’s operating system. Once downloaded, lifetime access to improvements and updates will be granted free of charge.

COMPATIBILITY WITH EVENT MONITORING COMPANIES

For this application to work correctly, the purchaser must be a client of an alarm receiving center equipped with the SoftGuard system. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APPLICATION if this is not the case, as it will not work or fulfill its purpose.

ACCESS TO YOUR LOCATION

This security application has a feature that accesses your location (provided that the user accepts the location access permissions). This feature, if activated by the user, will allow the device’s location to be obtained whether the application is running in the background, open, or closed. In this way, the alarm receiving center can assist the user when needed. This feature is vital, as in the event of an emergency, the user's location will be sent so that the security service provider can locate and provide the necessary assistance. When an event is sent, the user will be able to view the location sent to the monitoring center.

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

If you choose to use our application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The personal information collected by the alarm receiving center is used to provide and improve the service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible in the application, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy. To improve the experience, while using our service, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information (for example, your phone number and name). The information we request will be retained by the alarm receiving center and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
